Weekly Photography Assignment: Motion
Each week we’ll be giving you a theme that you can submit a photo for, and we’ll choose our favourite to be featured on the Nature TTL website. Participating in these assignments will be a great way for you to force yourself to push the boundaries of your photography and improve together as a community on the website.
Week 134: Motion
Our theme this week is Motion. For this week’s assignment, we would like you to show movement and motion in your photo. It could be a moving animal or element, you might freeze the action or blur it with a slow shutter speed. Whatever you decide, we can’t wait to see your photos! Good luck.

You have until next Tuesday, 30th August, to submit your photo.
Last Week’s Favourite
Here is our favourite submission from last week’s theme, Butterflies. You can view all of the entries here.
This week’s winning photo is by Hauk Tamás. The main focus of the image is perfectly in focus and shows-off the beautiful detail of the butterfly’s closed wings. The depth of field is enough to keep the whole insect in focus while keeping the background and foreground nicely blurred so as not to distract from it. Hauk has clearly thought about the framing of this image; the low angle has allowed a distaraction-free green background that nicely contrasts the purple flowers. A fantastic image, well done Hauk!
