Each week we’ll be giving you a theme that you can submit a photo for, and we’ll choose our favourite to be featured on the Nature TTL website. Participating in these assignments will be a great way for you to force yourself to push the boundaries of your photography and improve together as a community on the website.

Week 165: Telephoto Landscape

Our theme this week is Telephoto Landscapes. For this assignment, put down you wide-angle lens and try taking a landscape photo using a telephoto lens. Please put in the comments what focal length you used. Here are some tutorials to help you:

Please keep images under 2MB in size otherwise you may have difficulty uploading them.

This week our winning image is by Linn Smith with this unique photo! Linn explains: “It is an extremely rare opportunity to witness a wild turkey roaming and foraging in a residential neighborhood on a front lawn. Habitat destruction has forced wildlife to come closer to civilization in order to seek food.” Brilliant shot Linn!
