Weekly Photography Assignment: Long Exposure
Each week we’ll be giving you a theme that you can submit a photo for, and we’ll choose our favourite to be featured on the Nature TTL website. Participating in these assignments will be a great way for you to force yourself to push the boundaries of your photography and improve together as a community on the website.
Week 151: Long Exposure
Our theme this week is Long Exposure and we’d love to see what images you can create capturing movement and using a slow shutter speed with your camera! Will you photograph water or waves in motion? Or will you capture movement in a landscape like the wind moving through long grasses? Perhaps you will even try to convert a time-lapse into a long exposure image? You could even try to capture the movement of wildlife in action! The options are endless, and we can’t wait to see what photos you can create using long exposure.
Here are some tutorials to help you:

Last week’s winner
Last week’s theme was Golden Hour – and our favourite image this week is:
This week’s winner is by Eldrik Ajiyi. We love the use of leading lines that draw our eyes in towards the subject, and the beautiful colours displayed in the bokeh background. The image truly encompasses the feeling of ‘the golden hour’ and also has a lovely autumnal feel. Well done Eldrik and thank you for all of the fantastic entries last week!
