Weekly Photography Assignment: Garden Birds
Each week we’ll be giving you a theme that you can submit a photo for, and we’ll choose our favourite to be featured on the Nature TTL website. Participating in these assignments will be a great way for you to encourage yourself to push the boundaries of your photography and improve together as a community on the website.
Week 214: Garden Birds
Our theme this week is Garden Birds, and we’d love to see what creative images you can take of birds in your garden. Do you have a birdfeeder up in your backyard or garden? What species are visiting you at this time of year? Perhaps you will photograph a songbird in a tree, or maybe you have a friendly robin that always sits on your gate in the morning? Whether you’re a seasoned nature photographer, or are new to the genre, the options for garden bird photography are endless, and we can’t wait to see what inspiring images you can create.

Last week’s winner
Last week’s theme was Long Exposure – and our favourite image this week is:
This week’s winner is this image, captured by Pam Mullins. We love the softened effect of the waterfall achieved here with long exposure techniques, and the complimentary surrounding greenery. The vertical framing is effective, and the slow shutter speed has captured the movement of the rushing water beautifully! Well done, and thank you to all who entered!
