New Mid-Ranger: Nikon Z6 III with 25MP sensor and 120fps
Nikon’s latest camera, the Nikon Z6 III, utilises the world’s first partially stacked CMOS sensor and is now available for pre-order.

Equipped with a 24.5 megapixel partially stacked CMOS sensor for exceptional image quality, Expeed 7 processor, and Pre-release Capture, the Z6 III packs a punch at an affordable cost. The camera is positioned as a leading mid-ranger in Nikon’s line-up.
Other benefits include an immersive viewfinder with the brightest EVF of any mirrorless camera, and a wide range of pro-level features inherited from Nikon’s Z8 and Z9 flagship cameras.
Weighing in at 750g and measuring at 138.5 x 101.5 x 74 mm, it boosts excellent dynamic range, an upgraded autofocus system, and crystal-clear detail all in a compact form.
This camera offers high-speed performance, capable of rapid continuous shooting of stills up to 120 fps with Pre-release Capture, and 240p in video.
The Z6 III draws on the advanced subject-detection technology of the Z8 and Z9 to automatically detect nine subject types, including people, animals, and various vehicles.
Users can lock onto these subjects with advanced AF modes including 3D-tracking, Auto-area AF, Wide-area AF and Dynamic-area AF.
Photographers can now shoot handheld with confidence: the Z6 III boasts the most powerful vibration reduction in the Nikon Z-series cameras, delivering up to 8.0 stops of vibration reduction.
The body also features a fully articulated 3.2-inch LCD touchscreen with 2.1 million dots, which can be used as a front-facing screen for video production and self-recording and framing at a low angle.
The full-frame camera’s power also extends to its video capabilities. The Z6 III supports 4K and 6K RAW in-camera recording for high-quality video capture and slow motion capability for dramatic, detailed 10x slow-motion footage at frame rates up to 240p.
The Z6 III works in tandem with Nikon’s new cloud service, Nikon Imaging Cloud. It also allows for the automatic transferring of images captured with the Z6 III to various third-party cloud storage services, significantly enhancing convenience and enjoyment.
