Weekly Photography Assignment: Birds
![](https://cdn.naturettl.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/06095757/birds-assignment-900x600.jpg)
Each week we’ll be giving you a theme that you can submit a photo for, and we’ll choose our favourite to be featured on the Nature TTL website.
Participating in these assignments will be a great way for you to encourage yourself to push the boundaries of your photography and improve together as a community on the website.
Week 244: Birds
This week, our theme is Birds. You might opt for black and white to emphasize contrasts, or set out during a foggy morning to capture a bird’s silhouette against a soft backdrop. The time of day you choose to shoot can drastically alter your results; the golden hour might illuminate a bird’s feathers in a way midday sun won’t, and changing weather conditions can influence the vibrancy of your shots. Whether you’re an experienced bird photographer or a newcomer, the world of avian photography offers endless possibilities. We look forward to seeing the incredible moments you’ll freeze in time.
