Weekly Photography Assignment: Green
Each week we’ll be giving you a theme that you can submit a photo for, and we’ll choose our two favourites to be featured on the Nature TTL website. Participating in these assignments will be a great way for you to force yourself to push the boundaries of your photography and improve together as a community on the website.
Week 7: Green
Our theme this week is Green. This is a bit of an open-ended theme to let your imagination run wild! Interpret the theme how you wish, maybe that’s the colour green or green energy working with nature.

Last Week’s Favourites
Here are our favourites from last week’s theme — Composition! View all the entries on our post.
I really like the colour palette in Jim’s photo. The tree in the mid-ground pulls the eye into the image, and it has a feel of a painting to it.
I chose John’s image because of the clear effort to use a foreground effectively in the image. You can see how it instantly adds depth to the photo and makes it more three-dimensional. Without the foreground element, the shot would be much flatter.
